About me

I’m a developer. I suppose. Nobody has told me at which point of my career I may call myself a developer, so I took the opportunity to do so already.

Also an very amateur self-taught junior sysadmin.

As you can see, I’m absolutely a <insert an antonym of designer>. The kind of design you see on this blog is a peak of what I can do when it comes to design. The World Wide Web project is the kind of design I use as a template for everything.

Regarding my writing skills… well, same as design skills. When I’m supposed to be concise, I write a novel that’s a total waste of time to read. When I’m supposed to express myself, I output something similar to “200 OK”.

And since I’m bad (as in really bad, ask anyone who knows me) at talking, I rather turn to writing when an output is expected of me.

This blog is mainly a place to share some things other people requested – how-tos, examples of some configs etc. Sometimes there’s a funny stuff I want to share. And on very rare occasions, I might share some thoughts of mine. But I have tried that many times before and it’s always an awful thing to read, so I usually spend weeks thinking about whether to share some particular thought and in the end I forget it and the world keeps on spinning anyway.

Pastime acitivities, you ask? Well, obviously, I spend a significant amount of time with my computers; I rarely disappoint them to the level that they wouldn’t want to spend time with me, which is nice, and it is helpful to people around me.

However, my family is very patient and it feels like they have accepted me, so in turn I spend a lot of time with them, too. And I enjoy it, big time.

I also enjoy driving cars and vans, furniture construction, Lego and Merkur.

And if I have some calm and peaceful time, books are what I enjoy, too (e.g. books of Discworld).
